Milford Sound and Fiordland

Leaving Christchurch early in the day, we travel across the Canterbury plains with views of braided rivers towards the foothills and then South to Mt Cook. We continue on over the main divide, heading south over the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers, over the stunning west coast rain forest, and into Fiordland. This is the ultimate in New Zealand scenery taking in Mt Cook, Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks - snow capped mountains, glaciers, bush, coast and river valleys. We organise your cruise on Milford Sound on arrival where you get close up to waterfalls and sheer valley walls, bird and sea life.

Return to Christchurch via Queenstown and the McKenzie basin or back along the West Coast and over the alps.
